Lexis-Nexis Statistical DataSets Part of Lexis-Nexis Statistical Universe. Access to over 100 licensed and public domain datasets. Some time series go back 20 - 100 years. Create tables, graphs, charts, and maps. Export data options include excel or shape files. Hold down the Control key to select multiple variables. Also Includes the China Data Online statistics (within DataSets choose Browse by Source). 
China Data Online (part of Lexis-Nexis Statistical DataSets) Maps and statistical data (national, provincial, county, & city) for China. We now get this through Lexis-Nexis Statistical Universe - Statistical DataSets. Open the Browse by Source folder. To get data down to the city level, choose the China Data Center one that does NOT say national.
UN Data (formerly UN Common Database) Search major UN statistical databases and those of several international organizations. Most data is annual. National Accounts Main Aggregates Database "Contains a complete and consistent set of time series from 1970 onwards of main national accounts aggregates for all UN Members States and all other countries and areas in the world."
Nordic StatBank Data for Nordic yearbook is derived from this database. Provides comparable statistics for Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Finland, Åland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
Penn World Table The Penn World Table provides purchasing power parity and national income accounts converted to international prices for 168 countries for some or all of the years 1950-2000.
