RAMBI - The Index of Articles on Jewish Studies - is a selective bibliography of articles in the various fields of Jewish studies and in the study of Eretz Israel. Material listed in Rambi is compiled from thousands of periodicals and from collections of articles - in Hebrew, Yiddish, and European languages- mainly from the holdings of the Jewish National and University Library, a world center for research on the Jewish people and Eretz Israel. The main criterion for inclusion in the bibliography is that the article be based on scientific research, or contain important information for such research.

Internet Jewish History Sourcebook Unrestricted Resource Some full text available Resource contains images

This excellent site focuses on providing access to full-text primary historical documents, but also provides links to secondary articles, reviews, discussions, and pictures (2ND) as well as to megasites of web resources (MEGA) and websites focused on specific issues (WEB). The contents are divided into four historical periods: The People of Israel; The Emergence of Judaism; The Jewish Middle Ages; and Jewish Life Since the Enlightenment. Many of the online texts are "public domain historical texts translated more than 75 years ago." Although these texts are often still used "in commercially available sourcebooks, … note that … in some cases … more modern translations", available only in print, may be preferred. The Jewish History page is a subset of texts derived from the three major online History Sourcebooks - Ancient, Medieval and Modern with some additions. The site is maintained and edited by Paul Halsall, Assistant Professor of History at the University of North Florida

The National Center for the Hebrew Language (NCHL) has positioned itself as the American advocate for the Hebrew language. The NCHL publishes a newsletter, Ivrit Now, and a vocabulary-building supplement, "Today?s Word." It maintains a Web Site, www.ivrit.org and an online discussion group for professionals. The NCHL participates in major meetings of Jewish communal and educational organizations, presents and publishes position papers on Hebrew, and is the founder of the "friend-raising" National Society of Lovers of the Hebrew Language.
