Google Scholar Searches for many types of primarily scholarly sources including peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other organizations. IngentaConnect Ingenta is an interdisciplinary database with indexing and tables of contents for approximately 25,000 journals and magazines, mainly 1990-current. Note: Also indexes resources we don't have subscriptions to.
JSTOR Full-text archive of over 700 scholarly journals in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences covering all issues published, except for the last 2 to 5 years. Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe Academic Universe provides access to the full text of national and international newspapers, magazines, wire services, and more. Opposing Viewpoints Opposing Viewpoints covers current controversies and hot topics. It features viewpoint articles, topic overviews, full-text magazine, academic journal, and newspaper articles, primary source documents, statistics, images and podcasts, and links to Websites.
Periodicals Index Online (PIO) A database of millions of article citations published in the arts, humanities and social sciences, across more than 300 years, from their first issues to 1995 with some to 2000. Includes journals in English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, and other Western languages--with links to full text, when available. Formerly PCI.
Project Muse Offers full-text of over 100 scholarly journals in the humanities, social sciences, and mathematics from the 1990s to present. Vermont Online Library The Vermont Online Library provides access to over a dozen different databases ranging from business, health, computer, and newspaper databases to K-12 resources. Both academic and popular materials are included as well as some full-text. See individual database descriptions for details.

Lexis-Nexis Statistical Universe Statistical Universe searches statistical publications and tables by keywords, subjects, and categories. Find a Table searches full-text. Find a Publication searches summaries of statistical publications, some with links to full-text. If full-text isn't available, check Midcat or google the publication name.
